I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Inglewood in Plainpalais neighborhood, Geneva, Switzerland.
Great burger spot with a wide variety of options, including some special limited-time creations. I went for my favorite, the bison burger, made with locally sourced bison from Geneva. The combination of ingredients was excellent—the cheese, bacon, and fresh salad complemented the meat perfectly. The bison itself was flavorful and well-cooked, and the bun was of good quality, though I personally would have preferred it slightly less soft. The sauce tied everything together nicely.
The fries were crispy and tasty, though they could have been a bit warmer. The side salad was fresh with a solid, classic dressing. For dessert, I had the raspberry cheesecake, which was excellent—the biscuit base, cheese layer, and coulis all tasted fresh and well-balanced.
The pricing is quite reasonable, making it a popular spot for students and young professionals. The atmosphere is relaxed, with nice decorative touches, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely a great place for a quality burger at a good value!
I came here to order take-away (two simple burgers). At 7.30pm weekday, my order took exactly 15 mins as promised by waiter. Burgers come with french fries. They surprised me the most: freshly cut and not from frozen packet.
My order was Pasadena and CainCain (to start with). Well done meat was tasty, though there was no selection for bun. It was too simple. The restaurant is essy going, has some interesting varieties of draft beer (which I didn't have a chance to try).
My friend who lives in Geneva rated this place with high score ;)
Very good variety of burgers with interesting local meats and cheese. Burgers come with a side of fries and fresh salad. A very delicious meal at a very affordable price. Very friendly service too!
Great burgers! The fries and salad that comes with the burger are also great! We also tried the cookie wood (chocolate chip biscuit with vanilla icecream) which was also great! There’s a large variety of burgers to choose from and the service is friendly. We go outside of peak hour, usually when they first open, to get a seat.
Since 11 years living in Geneva, Inglewood kept the high quality and same standard of their amazing burgers and Oreo cheesecake. Always one of the best spot in town!
