Went looking for this place, due to google search. Did not disappoint, nice atmosphere, cheapest pint during our 4 day stay. No food at night/tea time, apart from bar food, the lunch time menu looked good and reasonably priced. Only down side is not enough toilets.
We've been here on a saturday evening. The place was crowded and there were no tables available for people who had not booked one (like us, tourists that decided on the spot to stop by this place). If you reserve a table, you surely have a great time here.
It was totally amazing !
First, respect the house rules: 'Hello, please, thank you'. It seems basic but it is the minimum there. Then, I arrived alone and the staff was nice enough to offer me a cool spot. I ordered a steak 🥩 with French fries and could control the cooking 🍳 of my meat. The fries are home-made and delicious .
Don't let the appearance of the place fools you (traditional pub), it is a great place to have a lunch with or without friends !
I used to come here often with my friends for a drink after work, but recently I discovered that they also have amazing and well priced dishes during lunch time! The meat menu is varied and super tasty! Only down side is the small, dirty toilet (even during day time).
The staff here is very friendly. We could easily reserve a table for eight ppl. And they Serb a "vessel" of eight liters of beer. Good ambience. Maybe a little crowded and insufficient bathroom situation. There was always a 5 min queue in front of the to bathrooms.
