It was the first time I was in that area Zürich Binz. I had to go there for a certain business and passing by there, I saw a sign Ristorante Da Michele. A few meters before there is a Vietnamese restaurant and I thought, to go there on the way back, instead I changed my mind ... luckily. It is located on the 5th floor and inside the layout is very simple, nothing special, but the view from the terrace, on the Uetliberg must be superb. Unfortunately the day of my visit, a gloomy day, but the sun was shining inside. The place was packed and even though I had not reserved, the owner found me a place in 5 minutes. If he had been an employee, he would have probably refused me.. welcome to those restaurants, where those who put the money, take care of the customers personally. Yes, it is clear that I ate an excellent menu, otherwise I can't explain all those people. At lunch they offer 10 different menus to choose from, all with soup or salad, then in the evening à la carte menu. Thanks to the owner, also for the excellent service: a mix of competence, professionalism and kindness.
Popped in for a quick lunch but found out to be a really nice place with cozy vibes, not to talk about the view from our table! The staff has been really friendly and very helpful as well with our order as we mistakenly ordered something we were not supposed to have as the menu was not in English or Italian. The food itself was nice and tasty. Would definitely recommend a stop by if you’re in the area!

Hidden jewel. Why do I tell you?! No tourists, local vibe, perfect Italian fooooooood. Italian wine - everything is possible, you don’t have to order full bottle!
