I came here for Valentine’s day as it was close to home and had great reviews — it was great decision to come here!
We were greeted at the door and seated. They did a thorough check of our Covid certificate and ID 👏🏼
The tables are set up to keep distance/have privacy between guests, which is great. It still has an intimate feeling when dining.
We had an aperitif and boy was it strong 💪🏼 and delicious. We ordered wine later to enjoy with our meal.
We ordered four half dishes to try as much food as we could. We were first welcomed with an amuse-bouche, which I am still thinking about. It was delicious!
The four half dishes were brought out at once share all the dishes. All of the food was delicious. I even thought about ordering more, but I knew I had to leave room for dessert.
The chocolate cake was a bit small, and served in a small ramekin and not in a cocotte, but it was still delicious.
The digestif menu card is not big, but if you ask to see the cart with all the bottles, the selection process is easier.
All in all, our dinner was delicious and the staff was friendly. I would definitely come here again to try the rest of the dishes!
With outdoor seating, this is a good place to have lunch in summer! We came here for dinner, and was happy with almost everything. The staff led us directly to our table, with the drinks card (Negroni was great). The food did not take long time either to arrive, I really enjoyed the steak although my friend had had better kalbsleberli downtown. They also offer half portion for the half price if you want to do the "tasting". The dessert in a small cup (pineapple pure with brioche or something like that) was not really enjoyable.
Lunch @restaurantlimmathof was very tasty. They have changing lunch menus (around 30 CHF incl. soup/ salad). I had fish with risotto & sauerkraut and a salad. Overall nice place for a business lunch: food, atmosphere & service were great!
