I had heard about Didi’s Frieden for a few years now but I finally had the chance to visit last week for a birthday lunch, and I was incredibly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, with staff offering great wine and dessert recommendations. The schnitzel was hands down the best I’ve ever had and is an absolute must-try. The highlight was the amazing birthday dessert (not pictured) they prepared that was so personalized to the birthday boy. It was easily the most thorough and impressive birthday dessert I’ve seen prepared by a restaurant. We also had the blueberry streusel which was divine!! I’ll definitely be back, maybe even for my own birthday!
I've already been to this restaurant three times, and I truly think it's one of the best in Zurich.
You can choose from a menu of 3 to 6 courses, and the food is always seasonal and incredibly fresh.
The service is exceptionally warm and friendly — the kind of hospitality you don’t come across every day.
The staff are always happy to introduce me to unique local wines, which I really appreciate.
The food is simply excellent, and the portions are quite generous as well.
Worth every franc.
I'm really looking forward to visiting again soon.
