Let's get this out of the way first: the food is incredible and the staff is very friendly. Insanely good fries and the burger was excellent.
There are two outdoor condenser units near the front of the restaurant servicing the apartments above. That means when it's hot outside, people indoors turn on their AC, which makes these outdoor units pump out even hotter air... The front of the restaurant is a sauna in the summer.
The atmosphere is a bit too cozy for my taste, with seating exclusively in an alleyway between two apartments. Langstrasse isn't a great street in general, so the view outdoors isn't anything special.
I won't bother complaining about the price. It's incredibly expensive, but I feel like you get high enough quality food that it's almost justified here.
If you're here only for the food and staff, you'll be very happy.

I wish the cocktails menu also included the Martinis that are on the dessert menu!
Honestly, this is tough to write because this place serves some of the best burgers in Zurich, no question. The food was absolutely on point, and we genuinely enjoyed the whole experience during the meal. The waiter was also very friendly and attentive throughout.
However, the ending left a really bad impression.
After we declined dessert, we were casually offered a grappa or limoncello. We agreed to a grappa, assuming it was a small complimentary gesture or at least something reasonably priced, as is often the case. There was no mention of the price at any point.
Only the next day, when splitting the bill with friends, did we realize we had been charged CHF 18 per shot, totaling CHF 72 for 4 grappas, which ended up being about a third of the entire bill.
That honestly felt quite misleading. Even if it’s technically on the menu somewhere, offering something like that without any price indication comes across as a bit of a shady upsell tactic.
It’s a real shame, because everything else, especially the burgers, were excellent. But this experience left a sour taste, and unfortunately I won’t be coming back.
I had the classic burger, which was super tasty and tender. The sweet potato fries were amazing - crisp on the outside and soft inside. The staff was super friendly! The covered outdoor patio made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Gabriela was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. Thank you, Gabriela, for making our experience even better. I highly recommend this place!
