We had a fantastic evening at this pub in Zurich while watching the Women’s Euro match between Germany and Sweden. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The Aperol Spritz was absolutely delicious, one of the best we’ve had! The atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed and enjoyable night out!
Excellent food. However. Be sure to let them know when you order a burger how you want it cooked. They assume very rare. We asked to have ours cooked a little more after we got it and the manager told us we need to let them know when we order if we want it medium or medium well. I didn't, but I was tempted to say "maybe have the server ask, "how would you like that cooked?". Just a suggestion. Otherwise excellent.
We reserved a table for a group and were looking forward to a nice night out, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, nothing had been prepared for us and it was clear there was no space set aside despite the reservation. The barkeepers were extremely unfriendly about the situation and even told us to leave, saying we should “open our eyes” because there was obviously no room. It felt rude and unprofessional, especially after we had booked ahead. We ended up going elsewhere. Definitely not what we expected and wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.
I celebrated my bday there. From the first phone call to the check they were very polite and helpful. There was always a waiter around to take our orders, everything was served in time.
