A nice hidden gem in Wiedikon. A small and cousy, authentic Japanese restaurant. The food tastes like home-made, I have good reference from Japan. Behind the bar you will see two sushi-ladies, that must be the reason why everything is so well prepared and tasty. Since long I have been looking for a good ramen soup in Zurich, tried a few places, I can say I found it . The sushi Hosomaki is simply delicious. Also one pays good value for the money . Make reservation to asure a table .
Absolutely delicious!!! It was my first time here, and I was more than happy with the food, service and price. We mainly had sushi, but I am sure that the rest is also tasty. Most notably, they use very high quality fish, so it almost feels like it melts in your mouth. There is not much more I can say. It was so good I also got take out for the next day and will add URAMAKIYA to my list of regular stops.
Best Japanese restaurant I've seen in Zurich. The menu is quite small, so I had the Kaisen Don which was really delicious. This one is really worth the trip people.
I ordered sushi for two people and spent nearly 100 CHF, but the portion size was surprisingly small, as shown in the picture. The quality was decent, though nothing extraordinary. Overall, I found it to be a bit overpriced for what you get, especially considering the hype around it.

a year agoA true hidden gem that serves best in class Japanese food. The place is run by 2 ladies that both cook and serve. I totally recommend.
