would have rated zero star if i could!
we came to celebrate my birthday but it was one of the worst decision ever
first we arrived with nobody at service. so we sat ourselves down and waited another 2mins until a TRAINEE finally showed up and asked if we wanted some drinks. i asked for "sparkling water" and she replied "i dont speak chinese" i was like EXCUSE ME?! i didnt even say anything. i was speaking in english. she was rude and impatient.
then she disappeared for another 10mins talking to another guest and i had to stand up and looked for her behind the bar so she could come and take our food order. she came again and asked anything to drink? so i said yes we already asked for sparkling water already which you forgot. and when she was doing the table setting it was also wrong
food came and it was ok. average. then as soon as i put my fork and knife down she brought the bill and said "do you mind to pay now?" didnt even ask if we would like any dessert or coffee. we felt like she was just rushing off.
i understand that shes a trainee (because it was written on the bill that this table was handled by a trainee) but clearly she is not receiving enough training or there was no supervision provided.
if im a LQA/LQE tester i would have given this place a FAIL.
Nice cappuccino and fresh pastries for an enjoyable Italian style breakfast next to the main train station.
The cappuccino was good, although I found the consistency of the foam a bit too fluffy and not thick enough for my idea of "perfect cappuccino"
Outstanding service from Mr. Pol Grau. The drinks and food selection were excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderfully calm and inviting. A genuinely enjoyable and memorable experience.

2 years agoStopped in for a mid-afternoon coffee while shopping in Zürich. Small, but quiet cafe. Excellent coffee and very kind service.
