Incredible, vibrant, friendly restaurant in Lausanne. From the locals to the owner Stéphane and his lovely team, everyone made you feel welcome as soon as you walked through the door. Beautiful restaurant, superb food and great service. You just simply couldn’t get better. I can’t wait to come back to Lausanne again to experience it all over again.
Brasserie Les 100 Suisses is an amazing place in the heart of Lausanne
Stéphane and the team deliver outstanding service
Perfect balance between professionalism and genuine warmth
The Swiss cuisine is consistently excellent - every dish feels carefully prepared and full of flavour
It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to, and one I’d absolutely recommend adding to the must-visit list when in Lausanne
Le National – A True Taste of Tradition
Le National is a very nice restaurant that beautifully showcases the essence of traditional cuisine in a warm, inviting setting. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine hospitality and a cozy, authentic atmosphere that feels like home.
The menu is filled with classic dishes made with local ingredients, cooked to perfection. Whether it’s a hearty meat dish, a rich sauce, or a seasonal specialty, every plate is full of flavor and tradition. You can really taste the care and heritage in each bite.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend dishes or local wines that complement the food perfectly.
If you’re looking to experience authentic traditional food in a relaxed and charming setting, Le National is a must-try. Highly recommended!

I recommend you come on a Sunday for lunch at 1pm (call ahead at 11) and get the fondue and a glass of white wine. And crème brûlée to finish it off. This place rocks and I have an excellent time every time! Every dish I have tried has been excellent, especially the entrecôte! If you don’t prefer meat or fondue go for the green salade. The dressing is homemade and I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised at the taste. You will probably ask for the recipe like I did (it’s a secret).
