It’s the second time I come to this restaurant.
Both times, the pasta was undercooked. It needed a couple more minutes to become « al dente ».
Also, the amatriciana was too salty, and made with bacon instead of guanciale.
Overall:
- a nice location
- good service
- authentic Italian cuisine with imperfections.
The food was excellent, fortunately the pizzas are big here, so my wife shared hers as the open seafood ravioli, though truly delicious, were a rather small portion of pasta.
We ordered pizzas a few times to take away. The pizza is really good in my opinion, with quality ingredients and good dough but multiple times one out of two pizzas comes burnt. We mentioned it once and it was better but otherwise we always got a crust that is burnt and can’t eat.
We were a big group around 17-18 people. Not sure what happened that evening, the restaurant seems short staffed and the waitress was not in a good mood. Everyone’s dish was served except mine and I waited for at least 5 mins for mine to come. It was a bit awkward as all other people in my group was kind of waiting for my food to come.

a year agoGreat Italian restaurant in Lausanne. Excellent service, good quality food & big portions. Staff are really nice, nice atmosphere and decor!
