Price to quality ratio is not very high. The burger, fries, and drink are what you would expect but the price is much higher than expected. For all three one will spend around 24CHF as of Sept 2025.
The lack of actual seating in the dining area is something to note as we took our food for takeaway instead and went to the park to sit down and eat. Due to this, I expected a lower price threshold as overhead expenses for cleaning and maintaining the dining area should not be of much cost. Seafood options are minimal. Overall, I do not see myself returning here again.
I had a double cheeseburger and I think its the best version I‘ve had in Switzerland. Let me tell you why: The perfect proportion between bun, patty, pickle and cheese made me taste the amazing quality of the meat. The consistency of the toasted bun perfect. Fries were good to. All in all a fair deal for the absolute perfection of a cheeseburger.
Amazing burger in its own but especially so considering it’s at a train station. Spicy burger is the way to go! Comes with jalapeños and a nice sauce. The lemonade is also pretty good. Fried are fresh cooked and crunchy.
Action burger is based within the Zurich HB train station. We ordered 4 burgers and 1 portion of chips, and it cost over 60 CHF. I suppose this is standard for Zurich but I'd expect a better burger for that price.
I found this spot on a YouTube video about where chefs in Zürich like to eat. While I still can’t get over how eye waterningly expensive this city is, including a simple burger meal at a train station; I have to say that this was a genuinely delicious burger. The dry aged Swiss beef really has an incredible flavor, not to be outshined by the fantastic fries that tasted as though they use beef tallow for that extra rich taste. It’s a bummer that there’s no inside seating, so you have to either take it to go or stand at one of the small outside tables, but I suppose it adds to the authenticity of getting a great burger at the train station.
