I’ve been going to this gym for a whole year now (with yearly subscription and attractive welcome discount) and I can say the only good side of the gym is the proximity to my work. That’s it.
At the beginning of 2023 I could put 3 stars but as the year went on it got worse and worse.
You have to have your own lock to keep your belongings safe (think of a public swimming pool). Looks like the gym totally lacks the financing as you are struggling even to find the hangers inside the lockers. Every time I go to the gym I’m planning the exercises not according to my training plan or a week day but rather according to availability of the areas (CrossFit), gear, benches, stands and machines.
If you are planning to go to the gym during the rush hours I suggest you look somewhere else.
Of all the ACTIV Fitness centers I've visited in Switzerland, this one is definitely top of the list! The studio looks brand new, the equipment is varied and the staff competent and friendly.
Good value for money, equipment a bit old, lack of mats and it's tight between noon and two but the spa is good. There should be a drain for each shower and avoid having dirty water from the neighbors who often urinate and spit in the shower which ends up on our feet even with flip-flops...
The location is great, and the coaches are very friendly and professional.
I go there regularly when I'm in Geneva because I have a Fitnesspark membership for Switzerland.
The only slight drawback is the time it takes them to repair the equipment when it breaks down, but maybe my opinion is biased because Fitnesspark is at the top of the range...
