Walked in completely by chance, as my gf just really loves pizza, and ended up having a Michelin-star experience in a pizzeria one of the best mixology pairing experiences I've had in my life, really underdog level. The pizza was good: mother yeast, well cooked, good ingredients, but what blew me away was that the bartender proposed a cocktail pairing.
I was skeptical, as many places in Zurich just try to inflate the bill, but after the first drink I understood the high level and took many others. I'm guessing that if they continue this way, they'll reach the World's Best 50 one day. Black berry bitter was blowminding and they told me they are experimenting in fermentation more and more. Unbelievably great restaurant in Zurich! I came from the Netherlands (The Hague) and had dinner at this restaurant. I’m speechless — just unbelievably great. The appetizers were amazing and the pizza dough was excellent too. 100% unbelievably great. The service staff were so friendly, and the nice bartender was great as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately the tiramisu was sold out already on a Friday evening around 9pm. 🥲
The service was good but some orders were not coming on time or were forgotten.
Overall a solid pizza place with a special atmosphere. I will come again for the great pizza and hopefully next time I can try a nice tiramisu dessert.
We had such a great dinner at Alba Pizza in Zürich. We started with the Tatar, which was surprisingly refined — super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and plated with real care.
Then came the pizzas, and honestly, the sourdough base was the star of the evening. Light, airy, and full of flavor with that perfect sourdough tang — one of the best pizza crusts I’ve had in Zürich. We ordered the Prosciutto e Funghi and the Diavola, and both were fantastic. The prosciutto tasted incredibly fresh, the mushrooms had great texture, and the Diavola had just the right kick without overpowering the other flavors.
The service was warm and relaxed, and the whole place has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger a bit longer.
A really memorable meal — we’ll definitely be back!

a month agoPizza was really good and service was excellent. I would definitely visit here again. I would recommend trying the tiramisu :)!
