Don't fancy a burger? there are THREE chocolate cakes to choose from. Or try all three!
I just wanted to say it was one of the best burger I have ever had and this experience was already verified twice.
Place is clean and the service is very friendly.
Prices are quite high but at the end of the day is Zurich so it has to be like that.
Great service and expensive prices, up to par for zurich I suppose. Being from the US I had to try what they called "New York style burrito" just for fun, and I guess I got what I asked for. It was definitely fresh tasting but just a random assortment of ingredients and not particularly flavorful. I will try the burger next time, but consider this a fair review since they dedicate a whole section of their menu to these burritos.
I came here with 11 work colleagues and reserved a table beforehand. The service was a bit slow but ok.
I got a burger and fries for 19.99. If you wanted to add anything, it costed more. Cheddar, for example, was an additional 2chf and so is avocado. If you didn’t want bbq sauce but something else, then it was an additional 1chf. Drinks were also a bit pricey. 4chf for a sparkling water, 4.50 for an apfelschorle, and 5 for a beer. The price difference is not big, but 4 for a tiny sparkling water is ridiculous.
One thing I always notice about burger places is if they ask you how you want the meat cooked. If they do not ask you this, the meat is not fresh and most likely frozen. Restaurants cannot serve you medium or rare cooked meat unless it is fresh. This place did not ask. That was already a signal of the quality when ordering.
One colleague ordered the burrito. It looked as horrible as it tasted. The burger was ok, but it was not the best. The fries were crispy but also seasoned with some kind of paprika. At the end of the meal I was full, but it wasn’t a satisfied feeling. It was more a feeling of regret, and thinking why did I eat this. My colleagues also agreed it was ok, but not special enough to come back again for any meal.
This place really confused me. The marketing makes it appear to be a burger bar but then the menu and food are kebab shop quality. The burger patty was dense and tasted bland. The pricing structure really puts you off ordering what you want. A bit overpriced for a location far from the center of Zurich. There aren’t any other options nearby. It’s unlikely I’ll go back.
