Burgermeister Enge

I saw some negative comments in other media about the pricing. So. Let me clear something: today I eat for a very first time in this restaurant. I had a dinner. My lunch was in a famous fast food in the highway. Compared to my dinner I paid only 20Fr less for lunch (minus 10Fr per person), but the food in the highway was HORRIBLE. Their bun was old, the fries were smelly from very old oil, and my burger was rated 3/10. My review for the Burgermeister Enge: I love burgers. This makes me a very experienced reviewer, so read carefully: The burger I took (the truffle burger), was truly amazing. The meat was minimum 5 times better than the ground beef I’m buying in Migros or in Coop. Compared to fast food? Like you compare a Rolls Royce (Burgermeister Enge), with a go-kart. The sauce was so much as needed. Didn’t kill the taste of the meat and or the VERY fresh salad! Perfect balance! I arrived back home (took me more than an hour driving to go to this restaurant) and I wish to had one more take away to bite once again. Don’t believe that inside your burger they put one million things. Simple, top quality, perfectly cooked to remain juicy and soft, and all senses was 10/10 (visual, smell, taste, cooked perfectly and served inside in a very nice basket, with French fries that I eat to the last one and sorry because I didn’t took a second portion, with a free -included- refreshment peppermint, delivered by a very polite, smiling, multilingual young lady). This is my top rating ever, not for a burger restaurant, but for any restaurant. If someone checks my reviews, will understand that I’m NOT an easy person, but I do my best to be fair, and whenever I rate badly, is to help the restaurant to fix their mistakes. But this restaurant is perfect! The balance between price and quality makes price to look not only good, but very good. Congratulations to all! From the top management, to the lady who smiled to me and to the kitchen staff, you all ROCK! Keep the great work! Don’t reduce the quality ever! Best burger and coleslaw I ever ate. Way better than McDonald’s, if you like the McDonalds patty the ones at burger meister taste exactly the same just better. The sweet potato fries are also incredible. Never ate a meal this fast. It’s a bit messy but that’s the fun part about it. Music was perfect and the atmosphere calming!

The price quality ratio is average: the hamburger has a bit of a thin slide of meat that seems almost fried, the bun is good bread and better than others but the hamburger itself is better at Burger King (personal taste). The fries though are really crispy and good. It is self service but personnel is friendly and kind.

The burgers are really delicious! The Truffle and Hausmeister were my favorites. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I love that the kitchen is open, you can see the team working, which gives a great impression of cleanliness and hygiene. The place itself is spacious and very well kept. Definitely worth a visit! 🍔👏

This place is often hit-and-miss. I’ve had a few pretty good burgers there and felt that the extra cost was worth it compared to the big burger chains. Most of the time, though, I felt like I paid too much for what I got. Plus, the music is too loud.
