The BBQ beef burger was incredible! You order food on a screen and it arrives very quickly ( so I was unsure at first). However, after the first mouth I was in heaven!! Would fly back to Geneva just to go here. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. All food was hot and the burger meat was perfect with no hard bits.
Good burgers and student-like-atmosphere. The food is delivered super fast. The fries are delicious.
All products are nationally produced (with the exception of coffee).
There is student discount, where you can either get the burger,cheeseburger or veggie burger menu for 14.90-15.90
Holy Cow just re-opened in Plainpalais and totally changed their look! Upon stepping into the restaurant, it feels like a completely different place from before. They set up very modern and stylish decorations and Neon-styled writings, which give off an extremely cosy and cool vibe to the place. I can't express in words how great Holy Cow looks now, so you will have to see it for yourself .
Otherwise, the food is always top-notch and satisfies me every time. The staff is friendly as before and offers a great service. And if you are a student, you can grab a menu (burger + fries + drink) for only 14.90 CHF!
I really recommend you hang out and eat at Holy Cow to witness their new amazing renovation.

A classic fast food restaurant.
I ordered the classic big beef menu. The burger was probably with ham and had a very strong taste, but was relatively dry. The (sour sweet) seasoning didn't do any good to it. The chips were good.
On the selection of drinks they have their own proprietary (Swiss) ones (holy cola, Apfelschorle, iced tea), so don't expect the American brands if you were looking for them.
My 13 old companion also didn't like the meat, but the chips saved the meal.
The place was not that clean (leftovers of previous meal on the table). After you order, the meal is delivered to the table. It looked like the same person is taking orders and preparing food, and it took our food some time to arrive (not very fast food). We visited during the low hours, so there weren't any other orders in line, maybe except for one family that came before us.
