It was one of the best pizzas I've had in Zurich; crispy and the flavor of the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese on top was incredibly delicious. My friend's Penne Janni pasta was also incredibly tasty. The staff were very kind, and I had a wonderful lunch.
Imagine a situation. You have a doctor's appointment, the weather is cold but you are too early and the only place where you could have a seat and a coffee is this place. But actually it is not open yet. And there comes the moment where humanity comes into the game. This was the case today. My son and I were too early for our appointment and Janni-Pizza was the only place that was open nearby. However only the door was open and the chef was preparing the food for the day. After asking kindly he responded and welcomed us inside his store. And I was able to enjoy a delicious coffee.
Sometimes it does not require much. A simple favor or a smile can make your day. I thank this generous gentleman for letting us sit in the warm restaurant and enjoy a coffee.
Now guess where I will have my next pizza or kebab? Exactly, Janni-Pizza will be the place I will remember and visit when I crave for a pizza.
