Le Coup de Soleil

I had lunch in this classical Swiss four star hotel restaurant and chose their menu of the day that was excellent. Outside the daily menu, prices are on the high side, both for food and wine. Service is fine and you have a beautiful view over the lake and alps from the window tables.

Very disappointed experience for this overpriced restaurant. I won't recommend it further. Service took long and was amateur. Waiter was between jokes and "i am sorry". Food wasn't at the level of the price - we didn't get to taste the tartare and the waiter didn't even ask us if it should be spicy. The meats were bland. Bread with the menu was like reused / not fresh. Wine was too cold. Limoncello wasn't cold enough. At least, the plates look good.

Very lovely staff - so kind and the food was tasteful - lovely Hokkaido soup and especially loved their mashed potatoes with beef slices and mushrooms was absolutely amazing!

Worst food in all my life. See the size of steak 100 gr, 2x returned cold then French fries cold horrible. Service 1 waiter for 8 tables with 4 people... See the bill. Detail rebais not them was my credit in the fork. After so upset lunch they came as cortesie one 500 ml water and a coffee. Never again. Be aware!!!!!

Service was nice and attending. The food were delicious. Ambience during the day is cozy enough.
