O’ my sushi

This place is very close to where we live and thought we would try it one night. The interior and atmosphere of this place is amazing! The sushi was okay. The grilled salmon aburi, was unusual it was grilled on the top but the rest of the salmon was cold. I was expecting more of the food. However the mochi was really good!!

Nice and cozy…food was good and service efficient best is to book a table as this is a very small place !

Wanted to give a review on the Uber Eats app, but the review option is somehow conveniently disabled... Don't advise to order a take out/delivery option at this restaurant. Placed an order with Uber Eats around 19:40, estimated delivery time was between 20:10-20:30. The delivery time was never updated on the app or was falsely advertised from the start. I called 3 times for an update on the status and their estimations for a new delivery time were wrong each time. Ended up waiting for 2 hours when order finally arrived at 21:40. I'm giving two extra stars cause at least the food wasn't bad.

the interior design is quite pretty. The waiters are polite and quick with our orders which might be a little suspicious lol but maybe not. the food was satisfactory however the fish (for example the cooked salmon!) was not fresh and smelt of my cats litter box. the calamari was pretty good, i also took some shrimp maki rolls and they were ok too. The chicken skewers did not taste like meat, more like vegan/ processed chicken. The one thing i LOVED was the strawberry juice. overall, it was ok. but not the best.

The place smells of religious: they do not serve alcohol and do not use pig in the food. Nems have nothing to do with nems; rice in sushi is not fresh. Gluten free soja is not served. The only dishes which were descent are miso soup ( i suppose it’s not difficult) and mango for dessert.
