Fantastic experience!! Felt like being at your family’s restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was warm and welcoming. I had the Zurich style veal and it was wonderful. On our way out everyone met us with a handshake and a smile and our server gave me flowers, it was so sweet! I couldn’t say a bad thing about this place, its a little way off the beaten path but more than worth the trip. If I ever come back to Zurich, a reservation here will be my first priority.
Best European restaurant I’ve been to! Friendly staffs, beautiful food, and large portion! The asparagus is their special. It’s cooked so tenderly that changes my view of this food. The beef bone also catches my heart! Their home-made sauces go perfectly with the dish. The dinning experience made our whole week!
They really respect customers’ requests. During the check, the staffs even made an exemption price for us due to a mistake in the English menu.
Really nice find, offers quality food and ingredients. Nice fish and also vegetables. Great meat ! Excellent open wine selection and bottle wine selection is great. Lovely terrace, inside is very cozy and elegant, different rooms with different appeals, all great. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Priced up to Zurich standard moderate well worth it. Will come again.
Superbe roe deer meat, great desserts. Highly recommended. Went there for lunch. We had roe deer prepared in 3 different ways. All were amazing. Meat is cooked according to the recipe (see specifications on the menu) and accompanied by vegetables, fruits, spätzli and sauces. Hard to say which was better, even if we could clearly taste 3 different tastes: “Hubertus”, well cooked in its own sauce, “Diana”, medium cooked “baden baden” style and “Hirsh hit” medium rare, the wildest taste of the three. We closed with 3 desserts, all well presented and tasty: ice-cream with Bayles cream, Merungue with ice cream and Vermicellees. Only negative comment goes to drinks. We ordered 3 glasses of wine and instead of the bottle and the tasting before serving it, we got a glass jug with the measured quantity brought at the table. Restaurant would deserve a different style.
Great service amazing food. Big menu. Prices are well worth it in my opinion. Ate excellent game here. They are seemingly willing to accept every wish of the customer and try to make your stay pleasant. Espresso was ok. Reservations recommended.
They have outstanding garlic butter!
