This was a random pick when we arrived in Zurich but what a pleasant surprise. I trained as a pizzaiolo in Napoli thrice but I have to say this is a great pizza napoletana tradizionale. Even if you prefer contemporaneo, please give this a try. On the mid-higher end of hydration for tradizionale but rightfully so. Keep up the great work guys!
Absolutely fantastic pizza! The dough is light, airy, and perfectly crispy on the edges, while the toppings are fresh and flavorful. You can really taste the quality ingredients in every bite. The sauce has just the right balance of sweetness and acidity, and the cheese melts beautifully.
The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Easily one of the best pizzerias around—highly recommend!
Great coffee! We stumbled across Pizzeria San Gennaro for coffee when we saw another customer walking out with a takeaway cup, as they don't show up when searching for coffee. We needed coffee at 7am before our train and this was perfect, including my signature cappuccino doppio on the menu.
My wife and I love this place! We are huge fans of traditional napoli-style pizza and this place brings it! The space itself is beautiful, located in the train station with a really nice ambiance...casual and comfortable. The servers and staff are all super. ice and most of all our pizza was awesome with an excellent crust, perfectly thin and blistered around the edges. The toppings were very fresh and delicious as well. You have to love a place that really focuses only on pizza - I think they only have a few appetizers. Go!
