Went last night for salsa/dembow night and it was disappointing. The vibes were good at the start, jumping salsa music, people dancing and laughing. I think the place has a lot of potential but there are some improvements to be made.
Here are some things that made our experience not so great:
- Our table was not cleaned off from the previous patrons for about 30min. When they finally came out to clean it, there were still glasses and bottles left over that stayed there while we waited even longer for the food. After we finished our meal, our plates and the garbage from the people before us stayed on our table up until we decided to leave. So, 0 customer service.
- like I said the food took agesssss and came out cold. The taste was fine. Definitely not Mexican but I guess close enough.
- 9 CHF/taco is absolutely criminal
- After the salsa was turned off, “the party” moved to inside (Swiss law I’m assuming?) and it was an absolute ghost town.
- No offense to the DJ, sure he’s a great guy, but Karol G is not dembow . If you’re tryna get people to shake some a$$, put on some a$$ shaking music !!!
Luckily we had arrived before the 10CHF up charge (10 to 20), but if we had paid 20CHF for an empty dance floor, no food and already 18CHF cocktails, I’d think it was an absolute waste of money. To be honest, a cover fee at a place like this in general is robbery. It’s a shame that GVA just can’t seem to make these bars and clubs work out… maybe include a drink voucher with the cover fee, it’ll make it feel like it’s worth coming to.
I have booked this place three days in advance for having a dinner saturday night. I got the confirmation mail of the reservation.
The same day, two hours before the appointment they delete my table saying they were full. I called, no explaination. Very unprofessional.i dont recomend it
A Hidden Gem for Taco Lovers!
This place is an absolute must-visit if you’re into tacos. Every dish is packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and creativity. But what really makes the experience special is kitchen team— you can tell he puts his heart into every plate. His attention to detail and dedication to quality shine through. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much, and it makes a huge difference. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

2 months agoWait stuff were overloaded with work, hence not as nicest, it was Saturday night, so it understandable. Food was okay. View is somewhat interested.
