We had a fantastic time at SALTZ. Kim and host made my day and entire team were on point attentive, and welcoming throughout both dinner and breakfast. The dishes we tried were delicious, and the breakfast was truly exceptional — one of the best I’ve ever had, with an impressive selection of high-quality items. I started with two amuse-bouche-style dishes: bruschetta croustarde with olives and feta, and saffron arancini with beef ragù and peas — both fantastic, and very reminiscent of a proper amuse bouche in the classic sense. I paired these (and pretty much the whole evening) with French Bloom Blanc, which was excellent throughout.
Next up was a lemongrass-curry cappuccino with soft shell crab tempura and banana — wonderfully creative, and just as impressive as it sounds.
That was followed by a veal cordon bleu with truffle fries, another dish I can wholeheartedly recommend.
For dessert, a hazelnut noir sundae rounded things off nicely, and two complimentary chocolates arrived as a lovely final touch.
All in all, a brilliant evening. The price-to-quality ratio is genuinely good, and the whole experience does full justice to The Dolder Grand.

I reserved this place for our anniversary on the terrace on a Sun evening. We were quickly seated when we arrived.
The service was impassable. The food was very delicious.
The waiter took off the drinks from our bill.
They were able to accommodate our dietary requirements of no alcohol and no pork as well.
The view was nice and we had a fabulous time travelling inside the Dolder as well.
Very delicious food, happy vegetarian as well as happy meat eating guests at our table. Great wine and cocktail! Super friendly service (only once did we have a slightly arrogant manager or so, but since then all experiences were very friendly)
