Really great experience at Vieil Ouchy. We came here to try some traditional food and everything was excellent. The fondue was rich, creamy, and exactly what we were hoping for, and the charcuterie, and other dishes we shared were all fresh and full of flavour.
The portions were generous, the presentation was great honestly one of my favourite parts.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly throughout.
Definitely a great spot in Lausanne if you want to experience Swiss food. We’d absolutely come back.
The fondue with truffle was excellent! The waitress was kind enough to make excellent suggestions and help us take photos of the lake view. Only downside is the street can get really busy.
Wonderful restaurant with a nice view of the lake. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent and reasonably priced (for Switzerland).
Really nice location in front of the lac and with nice terrasse, attentive and friendly staff but price are a complete reap off. £35 fo this bland testing roasted Pattie of shredded potatoes with cheese!
The best Cordon Bleu in the world is served here. Aylan our server was so kind and well informed on the menu and the history of the food being served. We had two deserts the gruyere merengue and the tobleron mousse they were both fantastic. IIt was really a treat to come here and have an authentic local experience. We had dinner at other venues that were based in hotels but I honestly will not forget this evening because of the atmosphere and staff, Aylan introduced us to the chef as well. Its amazing what they have going on here I wish them every success!
