I have been already a few times and it never disappoints! Amazing Italian pizza napoletana, I would say one of my favourites! The prices are in line with Zürich's usual, the service kind and nice. The menu has a good variety of choices! The place can be a bit noisy, because it is rather tiny and full of people, but it is super nice nonetheless! I would say that it is almost mandatory to book, it is very full most of the time.
In general, I found myself recommending this place quite a bit :)
For several years now, Margherì was one of my top pizza places in Zurich. Unfortunately, as of 2026 I cannot recommend it anymore due to declining quality. The highlight of their pizza for me has always been the soft, airy dough with a subtle hint of pancake, which made the taste so special. But for my last two visits, the dough has lost most of its complexity and was consistently undercooked. It went from an excellent pizza to merely an „eh, ok“ pizza, and I just don’t feel that 30 franks for an „eh, ok“ pizza is justified in any way. It was good while it lasted, Margherì, but now it’s time to move on.
Hands down the best pizzeria in Zurich—and honestly, it could give some of the best spots in Italy a run for their money. The pizza is consistently excellent, with top-quality ingredients and amazing flavor. I’ve been coming here regularly over the past two years, and not once have I had a bad experience.
Service is quick, efficient, and no-nonsense, which I appreciate. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a relaxed dinner and good conversation. Despite the restaurant often being busy, the wait time is impressively short—your pizza usually arrives within 15 minutes.
While great food is the heart of any restaurant, what makes this place stand out is how it delivers on all fronts: quality, consistency, fair prices, service, and ambiance. It’s a gem in Zurich.
You feel like you are in Naples. The ingredients are fresh and with high quality. The pizza is light, highly digestible but at the same time generously sized. The cost is commensurate with the quality. Excellent.
The fried pizza was amazing. Unfortunately the mortadella flavor was not the best for me. I’d definitely come back for the fried one! Appetizers were also interesting!
