Lovely location in the old town. I had my solo meal of cream of asparagus soup which came with crispy breadsticks, and the bianca (white cream) king prawns w pistachio and basil. The pizza was really yummy - came with spicy pounded chilli which balances out the taste profile in my opinion. I enjoyed the fresh king prawns. Staffs were very friendly and open to chats. I had a good time here.
Amazing food, but better consideration for tourists would help
The food at Santa Lucia Niederdorf is truly outstanding – easily 5 stars for taste. The pizzas and pasta were excellent, and the tiramisu was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely world-class dessert.
One small concern: as tourists on a guided tour with a fixed schedule, we had to stand in the normal queue, with no priority or flexibility, which can be stressful when you have limited time. A little consideration for tourists who need to leave quickly would really improve the experience.
That said, I must specially appreciate Angelo Novello (I believe the manager). He handled the situation very honestly and professionally – first seating everyone in the queue properly, then ensuring our order was taken and served very fast so we didn’t miss our tour schedule. That effort really made a difference.
Overall, fantastic food, good atmosphere, and professional handling by the manager. With a bit more sensitivity toward time-bound tourists, this place could easily be a full 5-star experience.
Lovely Italian spot with a nice outdoor patio out back. Our pizza was perfect with a great thin light crust. Lasagna was excellent as well. Tiramisu was one of the best I have had.
Authentic Italian food made fresh in front of you! Lovely dark candlelit atmosphere and the most attentive staff! Perfect food for tourists and very affordable food! Not overcharging people considering the restaurant is in a tourist hotspot! My new favorite pizza place! Shout out to Angelo🏻❤️
The food was delicious (especially the butter ravioli) and the service was very friendly. We went back a second time! The restaurant is really pretty. Try to get seated in the back by the garden.
