We had a fantastic time at SALTZ. Kim and host made my day and entire team were on point attentive, and welcoming throughout both dinner and breakfast. The dishes we tried were delicious, and the breakfast was truly exceptional — one of the best I’ve ever had, with an impressive selection of high-quality items. Btw big thanks for warm welcome and the little behind-the-scenes tour!

I reserved this place for our anniversary on the terrace on a Sun evening. We were quickly seated when we arrived.
The service was impassable. The food was very delicious.
The waiter took off the drinks from our bill.
They were able to accommodate our dietary requirements of no alcohol and no pork as well.
The view was nice and we had a fabulous time travelling inside the Dolder as well.
Very delicious food, happy vegetarian as well as happy meat eating guests at our table. Great wine and cocktail! Super friendly service (only once did we have a slightly arrogant manager or so, but since then all experiences were very friendly)

Came again for Mother’s Day dinner. This time I was quite disappointed.
Avoid appetizers, overpriced and no substance. My 35chf salmon hamachi had two thin slices of salmon roll pieces and a few leaves. The main is good, especially the black cod signature dish. But as I was comparing this year’s dish with last year’s I realized the fish portion was visibly 30% smaller. The servers are under trained and inexperienced and slow. The only great thing is the view on the terrace. For Mother’s Day, there was not even common gesture of any kind to send a rose or anything. Many restaurants make an effort for Mother’s Day dinner. But here it was absolutely boring. I was very disappointed that I booked this place for the special occasion.
My 2023 review. Came for a last min bday dinner as we couldn’t get to our booked restaurant due to road closure. They were very flexible and seated us quickly. The menu was extensive and had good interesting dishes, not your boring every restaurant offerings. Everything was excellent. The service was a bit lacking for a Dolder restaurant, maybe there were too few servers and too many diners. Nevertheless they were very polite.
